Episode 44: We Don’t Need (you to have) No Education

Monday's minisode finds the chaps at the Happy Place fearfully put out, but not even surprised enough to raise an exquisitely-arched eyebrow to learn that the Department of Education is keeping tabs on its staff to make sure they're not being seditious in cyberspace. There's also a bit of History that Foxy learned in school from a book that would nowadays be burned from a teacher who would - in these God-awful days - almost certainly have died in mysterious circumstances.

Episode 43: Annoyed By The Void

No two ways about it; Foxy's a fair old cross-patch today. It might be the weather, or it might be an overdose of existentialism. In any event, the grumpiness of his trousers DOES sufficiently abate by the end of proceedings to revel in the misfortunes of others and do a song. Arkham - but of course - retains his effortless cool throughout.

Episode 42: One Little Word

Foxy and Arkham take to the Great Outdoors for a quick Wednesday shufty at a far bigger controversy than the destruction of a hospital - at least to some cats and kittens it is. They also gaze into the Beyond and ask "Whither TV News?"

Todays' Monday Minisode finds Foxy and the World's Greatest Lurcher take a gander at attitudes to crime, punishment, and class - in which the image of an innocent animal dying of a ghastly disease is not QUITE the most disturbing thing they encounter...

It's been - even in the loveliest Happy Place on Earth - a somewhat gruelling week for us all, has it not? With that in mind, Arkham and Foxy have turned their three mournful eyes upon the Infinite - upon the Secrets of Creation, and a song about (justifiably) condescending aliens.

For their first EVER midweek episode, Foxy and Arkham planned an epic deconstruction of something - but in the end, they got frightfully bummed out about lies, conspiracy theories, and propaganda. They DID manage to peep behind the black velvet drapes of the shadowy cabal that run the world, though - so that's something...

As The Silver Fox gets to grips with Brevity, Arkham looks on in approval - it's getting too chilly to spend too much time outside, after all (and he's too afflicted with machismo to wear a little coat). Sadly, nobody ELSE seems to be reining in THEIR less reprehensible qualities this week...

Episode 37: The City Of Frozen Death

From their rural bower, Foxy and Arkham bemoan the lack of usable newsflesh left behind by the carrion-crazed media's feeding frenzy at this week's Conservative Party Conference. For all that though, they did manage to find a Prime Ministerial claim that might well be one of his biggest whoppers ever. There's also some rather exciting news about the future of "Discontent Provider"... 

Episode 36: Testament of a Troilist

This week, Foxy and Arkham throw open the doors of the Happy Place (not literally, you understand; it's outside, and there aren't actually any doors to throw open) to the most despised and scorned members of society - because ultimately, nobody is irredeemable, and a helping hand at the right time might be all that's needed to set a cat or kitten on the right course. They do, however, draw the line at certain Home Secretaries who will remain nameless...

Episode 35: The Coffin That Wouldn’t Stay Buried

In what appears to be the longest sesh we've yet inflicted upon an all-too-forgiving Public, The Silver Fox and Arkham examine the hysteria and political factionalism surrounding Russell Brand's fall from - well, not "grace" exactly, but the cat is fo' def' plummeting... They also find time to SKEWER (as the tabloids say) the Prime Minister, and for Foxy to deliver what has to be the oddest performance of his life. A packed show, all in all.
